The Adur Art Collective is proud to celebrate one of its newest members, Kate O’Neill, as she joins a powerful upcoming exhibition at the Riverhouse Barn’s Robert Phillips Gallery.

Running from Wednesday 8 April to Sunday 12 April 2026, Nature in Mind is a curated showcase organised on behalf of Arts for Dementia. This charity works to harness the transformative power of creativity, helping those living with dementia learn new skills and rediscover the joy of artistic expression.

Kate O’Neill, a Brighton Fine Art graduate known for her evocative semi-abstract landscapes, is one of four featured artists who share a personal connection to dementia. Alongside artists Natalia Millman, Celia Pickering, and Jim Reed, Kate’s work explores the restorative beauty of the natural world.

Why Nature?

The exhibition highlights how both art and nature act as vital sensory stimulants. Just as a walk in the woods can ground us, the act of creating and viewing art has a documented positive effect on the wellbeing of both those living with dementia and their carers.

Support the Cause

This is a fantastic opportunity to see Kate’s latest work in a professional gallery setting while supporting a vital charity. All artwork is for sale, with proceeds going directly to Arts for Dementia. The exhibition is also kindly supported by the RC Sherriff Trust.

  • Dates: 8 – 12 April 2026
