Susanne currently works with collage on canvas or watercolour paper/card and mixed media. She also paints small abstract pieces with acrylics/ watercolour and pen. Susanne has had a peripatetic life, and is originally from Canada. The experiences of different cultures has helped her develop her artwork throughout the years - colour and design is a major factor in her work. Her current work consists of small, quirky collages with pot, fruit, cups and bowls etc having a life of their own. Susanne sees the funny side of life and humour in her current work is deliberate. Her small abstract watercolour and pen paintings embraces a darker side - beasts under the sea. Susanne has showcased artists in her house as a venue for the Steyning Art Trail for the last three years. She has sold paintings throughout the years to various buyers at home and abroad.
