Kirsten Wild is a potter working from a small studio in the heart of Shoreham by Sea. She loves the tactile and intimate nature of pots as an everyday art form we live amongst, hold, wash, drink from and come to know and count on as friends. She enjoys exploring different clay bodies, how alternative firing techniques impact the pot surface and making stem pots. These are a modern take on 17th century tulipieres and the perfect place to put the seed heads, wildflowers, twigs and feathers she always comes back with after walking and cycling in the Downs around Steyning and Bramber Brooks, where she lives.
