I am a mixed media artist living in Shoreham. Landscape is the inspiration for my work, in particular the tracks and paths of the South Downs, River Adur and Mill Hill Nature Reserve. After leaving teaching I completed a BA in Drawing at Camberwell College, UAL.

I like to employ a range of materials and techniques in my work – acrylic, ink, pencil, oil pastel – which I use together with handmade collage papers to create multi-layered landscapes. I reference the history and nature of the area by incorporating map fragments, text and prints of wildflowers.

My finished works are mostly abstract interpretations of the Sussex landscape.
