Postcard Drawing Competition

Visit Café No.8, 10 Cecil Pashley Way, Brighton City Airport, Shoreham by Sea BN43 5FF. Enjoy a drink, pick up a blank postcard, and draw anything that flies - real or imaginary. Photograph your postcard and share it on Instagram with tag #cafe8fly and the entrant’s first name. Open to all ages (adults may post on behalf of children). Tasty prizes to be won.

PoArtry 2026 - Write a poem

If an artwork on the trail inspires you, write a poem about it. Send your poem and a picture of the artwork by Sunday 5 July to: scillaallen1946@gmail.com or post to 15 Mill Lane, Shoreham by Sea BN43 5NA. Include your name, contact details, poem title, and the artist’s details (with their permission for display). Six winning entries will be exhibited by Wordfest at Shoreham Rail Station.

Design a Wine Label Competition

Pick up an entry form and label template from Palate Bottle Shop, 26 Brunswick Rd, Shoreham by Sea BN43 5WB (or Shoreham Art Gallery). Selected designs will be displayed on bottles in Palate’s window during the art trail. The winning label - chosen by the Palate team on 21 June - comes with a drink and art themed prize. Winners announced on Instagram.
