Working with paint, dry media and collage, I love to explore the relationship between colour and shape, often arriving at a semi-abstract version of subjects that intrigue me. Following retirement, I completed a Fine Art degree in 2023 and developed a fascination with perspective and the 'tipping point' between representation and abstract. Inspiration usually comes from rural and urban landscapes, sometimes from still life. I am a volunteer and trustee of the charity Arts for Dementia which provides creative workshops for people living with early-stage dementia; I donate a percentage of all my art sales to them.
